I lost my cell phone on December 23, 2006. This immediately put somewhat of a hiccup in my festive season.

This would mean; not only would I need to replace the device, but somehow try to remember all the contact information for every contact in my phone. A daunting task. Nay, an impossible task.

You can easily imagine what I was going through over this loss.

I thought I had perhaps lost it either in a Target parking lot, or a Wal-Mart parking lot as I was getting in, or out of the car. I lost case and all, it slid off of my belt!

I noticed it when I came across a hazard in the road that had fallen off of a trailer, or back of a truck. It was a metal wire basket filled with about 10 one gallon paint cans, and was sitting near the center line on a curve in the road.

I reached for my cell to call 911 to tell them of the dangerous hazard, and found I didn't have a phone. I had to make that call from home.

Then I called Target and Wal-Mart to see if by chance some kind soul had turned it in to their lost and found. None Had!

Next call to my provider to suspend my phone service so I wouldn't get a huge bill to Aruba.

Next morning, I called Wal-Mart again, and discovered to my absolute joy, I had been truly Blessed. Some wonderful soul had turned my phone into lost & found.

I count this as a true BLESSING. LIFE IS GOOD!
